| Why
I, personally, became a DogWatch dealer: |
| I
have been married to Vicki for over 38 years and have two
children. In 1995 when the children left home we decided to
"fill the gap" with a dog.
We
searched and researched and wound up with our first Sheltie
- an 8 week old male we named K.C.
We
moved to a home, on a half acre lot, on a busy highway in
the country. It didn't take long to realize that my wife’s
prize possession, K.C., would not survive without some kind
of containment.
We did not want to install a conventional fence so, after
some research, we ended up with an Invisible Fence ® -
and I became a Sub-Dealer for them for about two years.
In 1997
we purchased another Sheltie with a very timid personality.
A
short time later our breeder phoned and asked if we were interested
in another female Sheltie that she had rescued - we could
not turn the dog down.
Unfortunately, we found that the fence we owned was not adequate
for the three different personalities our dogs possess.
So I investigated
DogWatch and found that the DogWatch system had many of the
benefits that we were looking for: |

receiver had more adjustments and lower levels than any other
sytem - we could turn the correction off and use 'audible only'
for our timid dog |

system had a lifetime warrantee and was even covered if the
dog chewed it (an important feature when you have three dogs) |

the
many pet and user-friendly features proved to be a benefit to
us |

in the long-term, the operating costs have proven to be much
less than for other systems. Our dogs are now over 13 years
old. If I had kept my Invisible Fence the battery costs, over
this time, would have been in the $2,500 - $3,500 range. For
a DogWatch System the total retail cost of batteries for three
dogs for the last 13 years has been less than $400.00. |

1997, once I realized that DogWatch was a better system for
my pets and my customers, I became a DogWatch dealer. |
| We
now have a new puppy and, with the help of our DogWatch System,
he should be around for at least another 13 years.
